Andrew Henderson

I studied medicine at University College Hospital London. My training in anaesthesia was at UCH but also Great Ormond Street Hospital, the National Heart Hospital, the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

A year at Middlemore Hospital in 1987 proved to be a turning point and after a brief return to the UK I began my senior career at Auckland Hospital. My public commitment is exclusively paediatric at Starship Hospital. My private work covers a wide range of mostly adult and some paediatric anaesthesia.

I have been a Director of Shore Surgery for several years.
