Special Training
Abir originally trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Bagdad but has been working in New Zealand since 1998. Abir completed her speciality and Fellowship training in New Zealand. She is an O &G consultant at North Shore Hospital and a visiting consultant to Shore Surgery. 
She runs the Colposcopy MDM at North Shore Hospital. Abir is married to Sadiq, a Pathologist, and has two children. Her interests include walking and travel.
