About Neha
Originally from India, I completed my medical training in Russia before moving to New Zealand in 2008. From the very beginning of my medical journey, I have been deeply passionate about women’s health, which led me to specialise in Obstetrics and Gynaecology here in New Zealand.
I am currently working as a Consultant at Waitematā District Health Board, across North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals. I am also sub-specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology ultrasound, with a particular interest in high-risk obstetrics – including diabetes in pregnancy, pre-term birth, and other complex pregnancy conditions.
In addition to my clinical work, I am an accredited MEDSAC forensic examiner and spent three years at the Pohutukawa Clinic in Auckland, providing care and forensic support to adult survivors of sexual assault.
Outside of work, I enjoy baking, reading, and creating art. I am proud to be multilingual and speak English, Russian, Hindi, Gujarati, and Telugu. I live in Auckland with my husband, Dr Kranthi PS, who is a General Practitioner, and our two wonderful children.
