A new chapter for surgical care on Auckland’s North Shore.

We’re excited to announce our plans for Shore Surgery Specialist Hospital, a new purpose-built surgical hospital we’re developing in partnership with leading medical specialists at Smales Farm.

The new facility will include:

• Six operating theatres
• Short-stay and inpatient capacity
• 23-hour stay capability
• Modern admissions and recovery areas
• A central sterile services department (CSSD)
• Contemporary clinical, patient and staff amenities
• Provision for future expansion

Located within the growing Smales Farm Health Hub, Shore Surgery will bring specialist surgical care together with complementary healthcare services, including Proactive Rehab and ABI Rehabilitation.

With direct motorway access, strong transport connections and ample on-site parking, we’re creating a modern, accessible environment designed around patients, clinicians and staff.

We expect Shore Surgery Specialist Hospital to be complete in late 2027 and we are currently welcoming expressions of interest from surgeons, registered nurses, CSSD and support staff who are interested in being part of this exciting new hospital.
